3 Sweet Toast Options

If you've read my 3 Savory Toast Option post, you already know how much I love toast. And because it's quick, filling, and easy to eat when I'm in a hurry, it's one of my go-to breakfast options during the week! I always try to start my day with foods that are packed with nutrients. Since motivation and self-control usually wane as it gets later in the day, it's one way to ensure that my body is getting the nutrients it needs in order to function well.  I'm a big fan of adding fruit to breakfast! It's sweet, packed with so many important vitamins and minerals, and extremely versatile! Below I'm sharing three of my favorite ways to incorporate it into my breakfast toast, all of which are made with Ezekiel 4.9 7 grain sprouted bread (my favorite)!

Goat Cheese + Apples + Honey

This one would probably have to be my favorite because I love goat cheese! It provides a delicious contrast to the sweetness of the apple and local honey.  Apples are a great source of antioxidants, vitamin C, and fiber, keeping your body's immune system strong and your gut healthy and happy! You know what they say, "An apple a day..."

I eat this at least 3 times a week. I do love simplicity and it doesn't get much easier than three ingredients! Almond butter is one of my favorite foods! It's a great source of protein and healthy fats, and also incredibly delicious! Like apples, raspberries are also high in antioxidants, vitamin C, and are a great source of fiber.

I'll take any excuse to eat dark chocolate (which contains antioxidants), so I definitely had to add it to this one! Bananas are one of nature's most energy packed foods, making them a great pre-workout snack. They're high in fiber and also contain high levels of vitamin B6, vitamin C, potassium, copper, and magnesium. All of which support healthy hearts, stomaches, and energy levels!
