The past few weeks have been the beginning of a season of travel for many people (myself included). I've been getting a lot of questions on the topic of how to stay healthy, and continue to make progress, while on vacation. I love to travel, but unfortunately, maintaining our healthy habits can be even more challenging when we're out of our usual routine. Personally, I view my vacation as a time to reset and find balance. There's no work, little responsibility, and more free time than usual. I always plan to enjoy myself in a way that allows me to truly feel rested and full of energy once I return home.

10 Healthy Travel Essentials

For me, this month includes quite a bit of traveling. I'm heading out of town on a girls trip this weekend and I can't even explain how excited I am to explore a new, very warm and sunny place! I love to travel and I have a long list of places I hope to visit in my lifetime. Traveling renews our sense of adventure, satisfies our curiosity, and gives us new perspective. 


As much as I love to travel, I'm very aware of how difficult it can be to stay on track with your goals and healthy habits. Learning new, healthy habits when we're in our normal routine can be difficult, let alone when we're put in completely different environments!
